- Finally she has arrived! With
a warm heart we're welcoming Smilla to the kennel. We were so
hopeful about her and when Elisabeth got her on the airport in
Trondheim all our hopes were fullfilled! She is just a
sweetheart! So good looking and such a fantastic tempermaent.
Thank you Mette and Per Rönasbråten for letting us have this
little girl! Smill is a daughter to Daniela's daughter
Örnbergets Paulina, and her father is our own Vincento. more

- The puppies have arived! A few
days earlier than expected Diddi gave birth to 3 oys and two
girls. The puppies are just adorable! Everything went good and
Diddi is such a lovely mother, you could think that she never
done anything else in her whole life! We are really looking
forward to this promising litter. Eventually there is maybe a
male still for sale if someone's interested.

- What a weekend! 2 x BIG-1
with two different yearlings in Norrköping and Nyköping. In
Norrköping Zuzu started for the first time in official class in
Sweden and what a start! He got his first CC was BOB and finally
BOG-1! On Sunday our little black princess Vega did it again,
CC, BOB and BOG-1! She was also BOS with CC on Sutarday. Our old
boy Zeppi also was BOS on Sunday and BIS-2 veteran. For more

- What a weekend for the
U-litter. In Norrköping and Nyköping our own Uzo took 2 x CC,
CACIB, BOB and BOG-1. His sister Unique took her last CC after
24 months old and gained her championtitle SU(v)CH!! In Finland
the third sibling, Utrillo, was BOB and BOG-1 in Kouvulo and he
also got his last CC and gained his championtitle FINU(v)CH!!
Unique and Utrillo has also been very good in bloodtracking this
last month. Utrillo gained his second 1st price in open class
and Unique gained her seventh (!!!) 1st price in open class in a
row. What an achievement! Congratulations to their owners!!

- We would like to congratulate
to the littersiblings Knacky-Knave's Forward To The Future and Knacky-Knave's
Captain Of The Crew (Sire. CH Örnbergets Gretzky
Dam.
CH Örnbergets Pamina) who yesterday at a dachshundspecial in
Sala was BOB and BOS. They both got CC'c and "Fiddeli"
gained her second championtitle. She is now both show and
working champion! Big congrats to breeder Ingemari Jansson
and "Fiddeli's" owners Malin and Julia Lorenz, and "Figo's"
owner Else-Marie Laestander!

- This weekend their was a
kennelclubshow in Alfta. We brought two dachshunds (Jack and
Vega) and the springer Fly who was entering puppyclass for the
last time. He did it very well and was BOB-puppy and then
shortlisted in a big final but unfortunately not placed among
top-5. Jack had a fantastic day and he was BOB, BOG-1 and the
day after he was placed on a 5th place in the BIS-finals. He is
such a marvellous dog!!! On the show was also Åkerlyckans kennel
from the Island of Gotland with Örnbergets Necezita and her four
offsprings. Necezita was BOS and her daughters was placed as
Best Bitch-2 and BB-4, both with CC's. Best bitch-3 was our own
black princess, Vega, with her first CC. Necezita had a
progenygroup with her children and they were BOB and BIS-1
progenygroup. Then Åkerlyckans kennel had a breedersgroup with
theese four children, and they were BOB and BIS-2 breedersgroup!!

- Ysterday we mated Diddi with
Fagermons Lemke. It went very well so hopwfully puppies are
expected around the 15th of September. Read more about this

- It has been an incredible
week. World Dog Show entered Sweden and what a fantastic show it
was! On Wednesday we entered the World Dachshund Special 2008 on
Almare Stäket, outside Stockholm. We entered three dogs from us
but on the show were also som dogs from our breeding. All of
these dogs got Excellent and won their classes! BOB out of many
dogs from all around the world was Örnbergets Taxman (handles by
Jill) and he got a Swedish CC and became BOB and BIS-6!! On
Thursday the dachshunds competed in Stockholm on World Dog Show.
Elisabeth was this day a judge so it wasn't possible for us to
enter any dogs owned by us. Luckily many owners of dogs from us
entered the show and Jill handled some of them to really good
placements. What about handling Dachsmeister's Eros (owned by
our loved friend Sanna Anderberg) to not only winning a huge
Champion class, but also winning CACIB, BOB and becoming WW-08
among 94 longhaired dachshunds!! She was also showing Örnbergets
Viktoria who won the junior class for bitches and she became
JWW-08!! To be mentioned is that the bitch who won CACIB and the
World Winner title is a grandchild to our Gretzky!! More results

- I'm doing a page with results
from shows in Sweden this year. The site will be in Swedish but
hopefully it will be easy to follow anyway. If you have results
from any shows and/or photos of the dog or bitch who won BOB,

- The puppies continue to grow
and they all look very nice. We have named them all and you can
find the names on the pyppupage. There is also some new photos
of them. All puppies are already sold so if you are longing for
a puppy from us you have to wait to our next litter. Hopefully
it won't be too far away because Diddi started her season this
weekend so now we are hoping to get a good mating and hopefully
puppies in aboyt 9 weeks. I will update with more information.

- A sad piece of news is that I
have taken Bessie away from this life. It was a hard decision
but she wasn't healthy and happy anymore. It is with sorrow in
my mind but with love in my heart I remember this lovely little
girl and I hope that she is happy where she is now...

- Finally we have choosed
Diddi's partner! It has been sooooo difficult to find a really
good male for this lovely girl. Our pick is a really nice male,
never been used before but he has fantastic dogs in his pedigree.
We are very thankfull to Marianne for letting us use her lovely

- Today Eliasabeth went to a
bloodtrackingtest with Zuzu and Vega. They both did great and
Zuzu got his 1st price in open class and Vega approved her first
trial. Now Zuzu is going to be a champion after taking 3 CC's
and Vega is now able to take CC's.

- Litter number 100 is born at
kennel Örnbergets! Dolly gave birth to seven puppies, four boys
and three girls. The puppies are all healthy and soooo beautiful!

- I have updated with some new
showresults from a great weekend. Elisabeth stayed at home to
wait for Dolly to give birth to her puppies but she wanted to
wait all weekend to start this very morning. At the moment she
has got four lovely puppis but she is still big and we expect more
puppies. I will continue to update during the day....

- In Sweden Jill went to 2 big
kennelclubshows with only Daniela and her ESS with her. Daniela
had a great weekend with 2 x BOB, BOG-1, BOG-3, BIS-1 veteran
and BIS-2 veteran. What an grand-old-lady she is!! Hope made her
debute in championclass and did really well, BB-2 and BB-4.
Winning both days was her mother "Kylie" (Wongan Romanza at
Barecho).

- This has been a great
show-weekend! Elisabeth was on Åland participating on Nordic
winnershow for dachshunds. She brought Diddi and Jack and they
were BOB and BOS and both got CC's which gave them new
championtitles. Also Örnbergets Jason has got a new
champinontitle. He went to a show in Russia and got a CC which
made him RUSCH. Congratulations to owner Katariina Pyppönen!

- NEW CHAMPION! Today
Örnbergets Rookie got a 1st price in open class bloodtracking.
By this he gained his Swdeish showchampion title with hunting
merit, SU(v)CH! Lots of congratulations to his owners Gunilla
and Kjell Winström. Rookie is the 128th champion at the kennel
and the 111 dog with Örnberget's prefix to gain a championtitle.
He is also the father of our expected litter. The mother Dolly
is getting bigger by every day and we are hoping for lots of
lovely puppies.

- NEWSFLASH!
We've got a new champion in the kennel. This weekend Hope won
her third CC and got her championtitle, SU(u)CH, in Rocklunda.
She has won three CC's in a record time, three shows in a row
and is now placed as no:8 on the showESS-list of the year. We
also competed with some dachshunds and best went Daniela and she
was BOB, BOG-3 and BIS-5 veteran! Jack was BOS. We also brought
two extra dogs for our friend Sanna Anderberg, Rosso who was
BM-2 and the miniature CH Sundsdal's Orlando who was BOB and
BOG-5.

- This weekend
Hope went to a show in the southern of Sweden with her breeders
and co-owners Helene and David Björkman. They went to a
two-day-show with only spaniels and retrievers. On day one the
judge doesn't really appreciate Hope but she got a nice critique,
a 1st price but wasn't placed in open class. On Sunday the judge
liked her much more! First she won the open class wich Ck and
then she was placed third in best bitch class and got her second
CC!! Her next show is in Rocklunda the 19th of April where all
three siblings from the same litter hopes for their last CC to
become a Champion, isn't that fantastic!

- Puppies
expected! In the days we are mating Dolly with Rookie and
hopefully we are expecting puppies the first week in June. You
can find more information under current litter in the menu. This
will be a historical litter because this will be the last litter
in the alphabet before we are starting from A again, but most of
all it will be litter number 100 being born at the kennel!!

- On Saturday
it was a big dachshundshow in Skogås, Stockholm. In the same
building it also was a huge inofficial all-breed show to witch
Fly was entered to have some training. He showed himself
absolutely fantastic and was BIS-1 puppy among lots of others.
Back to the dachshundshow where we had entered Jack and Daniela.
Jack made his debute in championclass and won it and then he
made it almost all the way to the top, only beaten by our
fantastic grand-old-lady, Daniela! Jack was BOS and Daniela BOB
and later on in the finals she was BIS-veteran and finally
BIS-2!!

- This weekend
we went to the show, Lilla Stockholm. We got fantastic results
these two days starting on Saturday when Jack was BOB and BOG-2
and got his first CC after becoming two years old and he got his
championtitle. Diddi was BOS. On Sunday Hope won the openclass
and was placed as 2nd Best Bitch after her mother and got her
first CC!!

dachshund speciality show to show dogs from our kennel.
Örnbergets Rookie got his second CC, was BOB and later on also
BIS-3! His brother Rinaldo won the championclass and was third

- This weekend
we went to Växjö and SSRK Moheda. With me was Fly and Hope. Fly
made his debute in the showring in puppyclass 1 (4-6 months). He
had a fantastic day and entered the ring with tons of
self-confidence and temperament. He made it all the way to the
top and was BOB-puppy and later in the finals BIS-1 puppy!! What
a debute for this little amazing boy, and he got lots of kind
words from friends, breeders and judges. Let me tell you that I
was very proud of my little boy, only 4 moths old and so
promising.

- We have got
another Champion! Örnbergets Unique has got three 1st price in
open class bloodtracking and is now Swedich bloodtrcking
champion, SVCH! Congratulations to her owners Maj-Britt and Ted
Ljungkrantz. This is the 109th Champion born at this kennel!

- Today we got
the message from The Swedish Dachshundclub that some of our dogs
got new awards for breeding dual purpose offsprings. Vincento
and Jelena got in bronze. Zeppi, Castor and Gretzky got in both
silver and gold. Thanks to all owner of offsprings from these
dogs for compeating with your dogs both in the ring and in the
forest.

- For the 8th
year in a row a dog from our kennel is invited to the
prestigious gala Champion of Champions at Grand Hotel in
Stockholm. Daniela was one of the most winning dogs in Sweden
last year and is invited not only to CoC but also to Veteran of
Veterans. We are looking forward to this fantastic evening.

- New results
from the first show this year in Gothenburg. On Thursday Jack
was BOB and BOG-1! Daniela was BOS but also made it to BIS-1 in
the veteranfinals! On Sunday it was the Swedish Winner show.
Daniela was BOB and SW-08 and Jack was BOS and SW-08. Daniela
also made it to the second place in BIS-veteran. More to read
